2008 Was Great!

Thanks to all of you who dedicated an orgasm to world harmony. It was about 3:30 a.m. our time when we began, and then had all Sunday to recover! We hope we made a spike on the GCP's screen, and will post any analysis here.

The greatest number of hits this year came from Poland, with the USA following, then Switzerland. The Colombian media was the most interested this time, but as you can see if you Google "Global Orgasm" or "Sheehan Reffell" the Global-O was featured in many countries.

Did it make a difference? Who knows? We'll see if the GCP noticed anything, and we can only say that the personal afterglow is very warm. If millions of people joined in, there were at least millions of smiles and lots of positive energy being projected to the world, and that can't be bad.

Thank you to all the journalists who contacted us for information, and to everyone who blogged, emailed, Twittered and networked.

Global-O 2008!!

Welcome everybody to December 2008!

And if it’s December, that can mean several things:
It’s cold in the North, hot in the South
There are some religious festivals coming up which have done nothing to help the cause of peace and goodwill
There’s a change of regime happening in the USA
It’s time for the Annual Synchronized Global Orgasm for Peace!!

On December 21st at 4 minutes past noon, GMT, the Solstice (Winter in the Northern Hemisphere, Summer in the Southern) will occur, and during the two hours surrounding that time, from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. GMT, we’re asking all the people in the world to take the time to have (at least) one physical orgasm in conjunction with conscious thoughts of peace, harmony, joy, well-being – everything good. So as you reach your physical peak it acts like a slingshot to send your conscious intention for a more peaceful world out into the Quantum Field of energy that runs through and around everything in the universe.

Those of you who have done this before (thanks for helping out in the experiment) know what to do, but newcomers (so to speak) need to practice as much as they can before the event.

Our hope is that, not only will there be a lot of people feeling good out there, but their conscious wishes for peace will make the entire world feel pretty good too! There are a lot of powerful guys out there who are trying to keep everyone in a state of fear, discord and hatred. If we can’t feel peace in our own hearts, how can we expect peace to happen in the world. So this is the plan – join in the 3rd Annual Global-O for Peace along with everyone else and let’s see if we can put a charge of goodwill into the ether. The Global Consciousness Project monitors world-shaking events to see if collective consciousness can make a change in the energy field. Let’s give them something HUGE to look at this year!

As of this writing, the site has had over 260,000 hits this month. So far, the USA is in the lead, with Italy, Australia and Canada following. We’ll keep an eye on the results and award bragging rights to the winning country.

Practice! And practice safe (and preferably non-unconsciously-reproductive) sex!

Global Consciousness Project Analysis!

As an encouraging start to the new year, we heard from Dr Roger Nelson, director of the Global Consciousness Project, that he has posted the readings for the Global-O. You can see the chart and Dr Nelson's comments here

He notes that the reading for the whole day looks similar to last year's Global-O day - fairly flat, then rising for the rest of the day. We may be reading too much into that, but it seems like the Global Orgasm for Peace created some kind of change, however fleeting. It's the Millions of Smiles Effect!

Again, thanks to everyone who took part in the serious fun. Thanks to Ángel and the gang at Globulart Diseño in Almería, Spain, for their tireless efforts in the midst of their busy schedule and an office relocation. Thanks to Dr Roger Nelson for his continuing work for education and enlightenment. And thanks to all the radio, press and blog journalists who interviewed and published us, especially our local newspapers, the Point Reyes Light, the West Marin Citizen, the Coastal Post, our favorite radio station KWMR, our good friend Baukje de Bruin at OOG Radio, Groningen, The Netherlands, and of course the wonderful folks at CIUT, Toronto, Canada.

Now let's hope all the energy we released into the Quantum Field will make a difference in the world and in this country, where we hope we actually have elections this year. We may have our doubts about that, but are continuing to think positively about the possibility that they will actually happen.
